Troncones is a small
fishing village that is home to approximately 300 native families. You
will find them warm and hospitable. Activities in the area include beach
combing, cave tours, jungle tours (even zip-lining through our beautiful
jungle!), bird watching, biking, horseback riding, surfing, snorkeling,
and meeting new amigos. There are various restaurant that abound in
our village that offer everything from hamburgesas (hamburgers), traditional
mexican food, to California culinary delights.
FISHING
Shore fishing will
be sure to surprise you with a mirage of specialty fish…….huatanango
(red snapper), rooster fish, Oysters and lobsters are also for the taking
for the diving crowd.
Our neighboring village,
Majahua, offers the excitement of deep- sea fishing (as do various captains
out of Zihuatanejo) with catches that include sailfish, dorado, tuna
and marlin.
ZIHUATANEJO
A visit will be good
for your soul. It is a soulful, pre-colonial, beautiful historic town
with much to see and many smiling faces. A bustling fishing town with
much to offer tourists, she also entertains the beach party crowd, complete
with parasailing, on the beautiful La Ropa Beach.

Zihutanejo’s “twin” sister could not be more different! Dancing until
dawn in the clubs and discos, dining on food with an international flair,
or shopping at the fabulous boutiques will quench your thirst for sophistication.
Ixtapa is also home to two world class golf courses.
